How vendor requests work
From any vendor profile in SKOOR, click "Request Info" to send the vendor an email with a secure link to the vendor portal. The vendor fills out the requested information directly. No account creation required for the vendor. Once submitted, the data populates the vendor record automatically.
What you can request
- W-9 / tax forms — Vendors fill out a digital W-9 that SKOOR validates and stores. No PDFs to chase.
- Payment information — Bank account details for ACH, wire instructions, or payment preferences.
- Insurance certificates — Upload proof of general liability, workers comp, or professional liability.
- Licenses and certifications — State contractor licenses, professional certifications, or industry credentials.
- Custom fields — Request any additional information specific to your business requirements.
The vendor portal
Vendors access a branded portal with your company name and logo. The portal is mobile-friendly and requires no login. Vendors see only the fields you have requested. Completed submissions trigger a notification to the vendor owner in SKOOR. The portal link expires after 30 days but can be resent at any time.
Automated reminders
SKOOR sends automated follow-up emails to vendors who have not completed their submission. Reminders go out at 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days. You can customize the reminder schedule or disable it per vendor. The SKOOR AI agent flags vendors with outstanding requests in your daily digest.
