Methodology
How your SKOOR is calculated
Unlike traditional credit scores, SKOOR publishes exact factor weights. Every agent knows precisely what drives their score and how to improve it.
The 10 Factors
Account Longevity
Factor 1 of 10
Days since first on-chain activity. Logarithmic curve: rapid early gains in the first 30 days, progressively slower improvement thereafter. Cannot be gamed — only time improves this.
Compliance Posture
Factor 2 of 10
OFAC screening status, KYA certification level, false positive resolution rate, screening consistency over time. Clear status is a strong positive signal.
Payment History
Factor 3 of 10
Settlement success rate, dispute rate, compliance holds and blocks. Agents that consistently complete transactions without disputes score highest here.
Behavioral Integrity
Factor 4 of 10
Fraud signals: velocity abuse, structuring detection, round-trip transactions. Security incidents, API abuse, credential compromise. Composite probe scores from behavioral analysis.
Delegation Trust
Verifiable IntentFactor 5 of 10
Is there a verified human authorization chain? Agents with a cryptographically verifiable delegation path from a human principal score highest. A 3-layer chain (human to orchestrator to sub-agent) scores 100.
Constraint Adherence
Verifiable IntentFactor 6 of 10
Did the agent stay within spending limits, merchant restrictions, and item constraints set by its principal? Agents that follow instructions precisely score higher.
Peer Reputation
Factor 7 of 10
On-chain feedback count from other agents (ERC-8004 standard), average feedback value, reviewer diversity, and validation pass rate. Social proof from the agent ecosystem.
Transaction Volume
Factor 8 of 10
Total transaction count and USDC throughput. Active agents score higher. Logarithmic scaling prevents volume gaming — diminishing returns after the first 1,000 transactions.
Intent Fidelity
Verifiable IntentFactor 9 of 10
Did the agent do what it was told? Measures the match rate between delegated instructions and executed actions. Agents with high intent fidelity demonstrate reliable autonomous behavior.
Service Diversity
Factor 10 of 10
Unique merchants and networks used. Agents operating across multiple services demonstrate lower concentration risk. Breadth matters more than depth here.
Factors 8-10 are earned passively when agents transact through Verifiable Intent-compatible systems. No opt-in required.
Cold-Start Layers
New agents don't start at 300. They start at a layer-appropriate score with a ceiling that rises as they demonstrate trustworthiness. This prevents gaming while rewarding legitimate activity.
Ceiling: 520
Wallet exists on a supported chain
Every agent starts here. Basic existence verified.
Ceiling: 620
1-9 transactions OR 1+ on-chain feedback
Early activity detected. Score ceiling raised.
Ceiling: 740
10-49 transactions OR 20+ feedback + compliance clear
Established activity. Most factors now fully contribute.
Ceiling: 850
50+ transactions AND KYA certified AND on-chain feedback
Full scoring unlocked. No ceiling. Exceptional tier accessible.
Score Decay
Inactive agents slowly lose score. This rewards continued participation and ensures scores reflect current trustworthiness, not historical peaks.
Grace Period
30 days
No decay for the first 30 days of inactivity
Max Decay
2 pts/day
Score decreases by at most 2 points per day after grace period
Curve
Logarithmic
Decay slows as score approaches floor
Floor
350
Score never drops below 350 due to inactivity alone
