The Three Pillars
Your Business Skoor is the sum of three independent pillar scores. Each pillar captures a different dimension of your financial activity. No black boxes.
Pillar 1: Agent Score (0-40)
The Agent Score is mapped from the 300-850 SKOOR Agent Score to a 0-40 range. It reflects your account behavior, card usage patterns, and payment history on the SKOOR card. The mapping is linear: a 300 agent score maps to 0, and an 850 maps to 40.
Key inputs include: account age (how long you have been on SKOOR), payment consistency (on-time card payments), utilization ratio (spending relative to your credit limit), and transaction diversity (number of unique merchants). The Agent Score is the largest pillar because it represents the broadest view of your financial behavior.
Pillar 2: Merchant Services (0-30)
The Merchant Services pillar scores your payment processing activity. If you accept payments through SKOOR, this pillar captures your processing volume, chargeback rate, refund rate, and settlement consistency. Businesses with healthy processing patterns (low chargebacks, steady volume, consistent settlement) score higher.
This pillar starts at 0 for businesses that do not process payments through SKOOR. Connecting your merchant processing is the single fastest way to unlock points in this pillar. Even modest processing volume (a few thousand dollars per month) begins contributing meaningful points within 30 days.
Pillar 3: Business Credit (0-30)
The Business Credit pillar measures your bill payment behavior and vendor relationships. Inputs include: on-time payment rate for AP bills, average days-to-pay relative to terms, vendor diversity (number of active vendors), and 1099 compliance status. Businesses that pay vendors on time, maintain multiple vendor relationships, and stay compliant with tax filing requirements score highest.
This pillar also starts at 0 if you are not using SKOOR Accounts Payable or Vendor Management. Adding your first vendor and paying your first bill through SKOOR begins building this pillar immediately. Consistent on-time payments over 90 days can contribute up to 20 points.
How the pillars combine
Your Business Skoor is the simple sum of all three pillars: Agent Score + Merchant Services + Business Credit = Business Skoor (0-100). Under the hood the engine computes on a raw 0-1,000 scale (the Business Health Score); your displayed score is the raw score divided by 10. Each pillar is calculated independently and updates daily. You can see the breakdown in your dashboard at any time. This transparency means you always know exactly which area to focus on to improve your overall score.
