Pillar 1: Agent Score (card behavior)
Use your SKOOR card consistently. Making at least 10 transactions per month demonstrates active, healthy account usage. Estimated impact: +2 to +4 points over 60 days.
Pay your card balance on time. On-time payments are the single most important factor in Pillar 1. Set up autopay to eliminate the risk of a missed payment. A single late payment can reduce this pillar by 3-5 points. Estimated impact of consistent on-time payments: +5 to +8 points over 90 days.
Keep utilization below 30%. Spending less than 30% of your available credit limit signals responsible usage. If your limit is $2,500, aim to keep your balance below $750 at any point in the billing cycle. Estimated impact: +1 to +3 points.
Pillar 2: Merchant Services (processing)
Connect your payment processing. If you accept payments from customers, connecting your processing to SKOOR unlocks this entire pillar. A business processing $5,000 per month can gain 10+ points in Pillar 2 within 30 days. Without processing connected, this pillar stays at 0.
Minimize chargebacks. A chargeback rate above 1% significantly drags down Pillar 2. Resolve disputes quickly, use clear billing descriptors, and communicate with customers proactively. Estimated impact of reducing chargebacks from 2% to 0.5%: +4 to +6 points.
Pillar 3: Business Credit (vendor payments)
Pay vendors on time through SKOOR AP. Every on-time bill payment adds to your Pillar 3 score. Set up scheduled payments or autopay for recurring vendor bills. Estimated impact: +3 to +5 points over 90 days of consistent on-time payments.
Add more vendors. Vendor diversity demonstrates breadth of business relationships. Moving from 3 to 10 active vendors can contribute +2 to +3 points. Each vendor you pay through SKOOR adds a data point.
Complete 1099 compliance. Having W-9s on file and filing 1099s on time contributes to your compliance sub-score within Pillar 3. Estimated impact: +1 to +2 points.
