Payments
Payment Methods
Pay every vendor their preferred way. ACH, card, check, or wire. Set a default method per vendor so payments go out with zero manual selection.
ACH transfers
ACH is free on SKOOR and settles in one to three business days. To set up ACH, add your bank account via Plaid instant verification or manual micro-deposit. For vendors, collect their routing and account numbers through the vendor self-service portal. ACH supports both one-time and recurring payments. Same-day ACH is available on SKOOR Plus for time-sensitive payments.
Card payments
Pay vendors with your SKOOR card and earn cashback on every transaction. Card payments settle instantly on the vendor side. This is ideal for vendors who accept card or for situations where you want to extend your cash float by paying on the card billing cycle. Card payments also generate transaction data that strengthens your Business Health Score through Pillar 1 (Agent Score) and Pillar 3 (Business Credit).
Check payments
For vendors that still require paper checks, SKOOR prints and mails checks on your behalf. You provide the payee details and mailing address; SKOOR handles printing, postage, and delivery tracking. Checks arrive in five to seven business days. Each check includes a remittance stub with invoice details so the vendor can reconcile on their end.
Wire transfers
Wire transfers settle same-day and cost $10 per wire. Use wires for high-value payments, international vendors, or situations where the vendor requires guaranteed same-day funds. Wire details (beneficiary bank, SWIFT/BIC, account number) are stored per vendor so subsequent wires require only amount confirmation.
Default method per vendor
Assign a default payment method to each vendor in their profile. When a bill from that vendor reaches For Payment, SKOOR pre-selects the default method. You can override on any individual bill. This eliminates the daily decision of how to pay each vendor and ensures consistent payment behavior across your team.
