Context-Aware Messaging

GABRIEL does not blast every event to your inbox. Before sending a notification, it evaluates the context: Is this a significant score change or normal fluctuation? Is this transaction unusual for this vendor? Has the user already seen this information in the dashboard? This customer-service-agent pattern means every message GABRIEL sends is worth reading.

Multi-Channel Delivery

GABRIEL delivers through Slack and email. Urgent alerts — a held transaction, a compliance issue, a score drop below a threshold — go to both channels immediately. Routine updates — weekly spend summary, monthly score trend, vendor report — arrive as scheduled digests. You configure which events trigger which channels in your notification settings.

Rate-Limited by Design

GABRIEL enforces a maximum of one email per day for non-urgent notifications. If multiple events occur, they are batched into a single digest rather than sent individually. This rate limiting is built into the architecture, not configurable down to zero. The goal is to be useful, not overwhelming. You will never receive 15 emails about 15 transactions — you will receive one email summarizing all 15.
