Integrations · QuickBooks Online
Your books stay in QuickBooks. Your Bookkeeper works from them.
Skoor connects directly to QuickBooks Online. Bills, invoices, and spending sync in every hour; your AI Bookkeeper keeps the picture current, proposes the codes, and reports every Friday — and QuickBooks stays the system of record.
What syncs in
QuickBooks → Skoor, hourly, incremental
Bills (money you owe)
Payables land with vendor, amount, and due date — your Bookkeeper watches what's coming due.
Invoices (money owed to you)
Receivables with balances and due dates — outstanding and overdue, always current.
Purchases (money spent)
Spending flows in uncategorized on purpose: proposing the codes is your Bookkeeper's job. You approve; nothing is coded without you.
What syncs out
Skoor → QuickBooks, deterministic, logged
Skoor card spend → Expenses
If your team spends on Skoor cards, each cleared transaction syncs to QuickBooks as an expense — once, with a document number so it never duplicates.
Vendors, created for you
New merchants are matched to your existing QuickBooks vendors by name; if there's no match, the vendor is created automatically.
Closed periods respected
An expense dated in a closed accounting period is re-dated to the first day of the next open month — QuickBooks' rules, never fought.
Set up in two minutes
01
Connect
From your dashboard's Connections page, choose QuickBooks Online and sign in with Intuit. Pick your company.
02
First sync
Your bills, invoices, and spending import automatically. Nothing in QuickBooks is modified by the import.
03
Meet your Bookkeeper
Hire the Bookkeeper role and the weekly rhythm starts: codes proposed, books watched, status every Friday.
Questions owners ask
Does Skoor change my books without asking?
No. Imports are read-only copies; anything that writes to QuickBooks is deterministic and logged, and anything judgment-based (like categorization) is a proposal your Bookkeeper makes for your approval. Suggest first, always.
How fresh is the data?
Connected companies sync automatically every hour, and pull only what changed since the last sync. Your Friday books status is computed from that morning's books, and every number carries its freshness.
How is access secured?
OAuth through Intuit — Skoor never sees your QuickBooks password. Tokens are stored encrypted at rest, refreshed automatically, and you can disconnect any time from your dashboard or from QuickBooks itself.
Which QuickBooks versions work?
QuickBooks Online. One company file per business today. QuickBooks Desktop isn't supported.
What about Xero?
A Xero connection exists on the same pattern. If your books live somewhere else, a statement upload gets your Bookkeeper working the same day.
Books current every Friday.
Connect QuickBooks, hire the Bookkeeper, approve the codes. $129/month.
